Successful 27th Hospital Logistics Seminar at the University Hospital Halle (Saale)
Telelift at the 27th Hospital Logistics Seminar

On September 24 and 25, 2023, the 27th Hospital Logistics Seminar took place at the University Hospital Halle (Saale), bringing together numerous professionals from the industry. The event provided a platform for discussing innovative solutions and current challenges in the world of logistics and healthcare.
As is tradition, Ralf Severin, Head of Supply Management at the UKH, opened the seminar. In his presentation, he introduced Leipzig University Hospital and planned expansion measures in care management.
A central point of the event was the use of robotics in logistics processes. Innovative approaches for autonomous mobile robots (AMR) in everyday clinical practice were presented. A subsequent panel of experts discussed optimization potential and current challenges in the implementation of AMR.
Telelift used the very successful event to provide information about the new UniVan and UniVan mini mobile robots at a small exhibition stand. The mobile robots bring the required goods (e.g. meals, laundry, sterile goods or pharmacy products) fully automatically to the right place at the right time. The vehicles, which can carry up to 500 kg, take on physically demanding transportation tasks and, thanks to their extensive safety technology, can share routes with employees in daily hospital operations.
We are delighted to have been part of the 27th Hospital Logistics Seminar and to have enjoyed the interesting discussions and contacts that resulted. We are working together to optimize hospital processes and look forward to future challenges!
